I’m about to try something I consider weird. \u00a0Sort of the anti-Rogaine approach to hair loss. \u00a0This stems from a period, recent past, when my hair grew out and the remaining hair on top insisted on standing up and imitating a mohawk, a really wispy, faint mohawk. \u00a0What to do?<\/p>\n

Comb it over? \u00a0Didn’t work. \u00a0Static electricity kept popping it back up. \u00a0Kate cut it with the rest of my hair but then the remaining lawn on top had a raggedy look. \u00a0So, I took the clippers and shaved the edges. \u00a0Ah. \u00a0More symmetrical.<\/p>\n

Still. \u00a0Looked silly. \u00a0Next stop. \u00a0The razor. \u00a0Yes, I shaved my head. \u00a0I know, but hey, I said adjusting to the last third of life had its moments. \u00a0This is one of them for me. \u00a0Kate suggested a hypoallergenic depilatory. \u00a0Say that one ten times fast.<\/p>\n

I find this product on shelf space devoted to waxing. \u00a0Specifically Brazilian bikini waxing. \u00a0I know. \u00a0Do I want products like that on my head? \u00a0Fortunately, the old standard from long ago, Nair, comes in several flavors, one of them for sensitive skin. \u00a0Mine. \u00a0Gonna try it.<\/p>\n
