Another tour with developmentally disabled adults this morning. \u00a0A more interactive group this time though that might be because I had a better plan.<\/p>\n
We focused on questions like: \u00a0Old or young? \u00a0What do you see that makes you say that? \u00a0Man or woman? \u00a0What do you see…? \u00a0How do you imagine Bartholomew feels?<\/p>\n
Got good responses and attentiveness throughout our session. \u00a0It was a good feeling all round.<\/p>\n
Today is Mark’s last day here. \u00a0He takes off tomorrow for Lansing, Michigan where our cousin Kristen lives. \u00a0Greyhound will carry him from here to there. \u00a0He plans to go to Detroit after that and visit our cousin Leisa who is in a nursing home after a stroke. \u00a0The rest of his visit, undecided.<\/p>\n
His school year in Riyadh starts sometime after September 1st. \u00a0He has to be there between August 25th and then. \u00a0He hasn’t got his ticket yet because he has to get his visa redone, then send them on to the school’s folks here and they’ll book his ticket.<\/p>\n
