<\/a>tired, didn’t workout last night, generally blahhness. \u00a0When I got to the kennel, Eric, the guy that runs the place, told me, “If you could breed these guys and produce all dogs like Vega you’d have a definite new breed.” \u00a0He’s right. \u00a0Vega’s a sweety, intelligent, just willful enough to be interesting and a dog of true leisure.<\/p>\nFeeling a bit better after that. \u00a0Always nice to have an outsider reinforce your own feelings. \u00a0Then the dogs came out with handlers. \u00a0Jumping, straining at the leashes, wanting to get at me, say hi, lick my face, bump me. \u00a0Right then whatever blahs remained drifted away.<\/p>\n
On the way back with all four dogs trying to sit in the front seat, I realized what I was missing. \u00a0Companionship. \u00a0And someone who needed me. \u00a0The house is no longer empty. \u00a0And neither am I.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
