Richard was the first Ellis settler of my line in the U.S. and a captain in the Revolutionary Army. \u00a0This print is on the flyleaf of a long, 272 page genealogical history of the Ellises descended through Richard. \u00a0He was born in Dublin, Ireland to Welsh parents and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 13 in 1717.
