Getting to be a high mileage vehicle. \u00a0Won&#8217;t get much at trade-in.<\/p>\n<p>(aging man shoots selfie. \u00a0kicked off facebook.)<\/p>\n<p>When I posted about Sid Caesar&#8217;s death yesterday, I referenced live black and white television as a generational barrier. \u00a0Made me wonder what others I&#8217;m on the other side of. \u00a0Dial telephones. \u00a0Telephones with wires. \u00a0Telephone poles, too, I suppose. \u00a0Gas prices under twenty-five cents. \u00a0In loco parentis. \u00a0The draft. \u00a0Legally segregated schools. \u00a0Cars without air bags, computers, cruise control. \u00a0Organic food. \u00a0Genetically Modified Crops. \u00a0Round Up. \u00a0The moon landing. \u00a0Kennedy, King and Malcolm X. \u00a0Drive-in movies. Available abortions. \u00a0Housewives. \u00a0Small town newspapers. \u00a0A total closet for gays. \u00a0Pre Super Bowl. Home milk delivery.
