Tom and I got here a week ago tonight; Kate followed the next day. A week, almost. The events of the unloading are already stories, no longer present, far overwhelmed by the settling tasks.<\/p>\n
The pace is, both by altitude and attitude, deliberate rather than hurried. Much like, as friend Bill Schmidt said, the pace elderhood takes as its mantle.<\/p>\n
