Two tours today, both Weber, but very different.\u00a0 The first was a Shakopee Japanese language group who had some very sharp kids.\u00a0 They were with Hotei, the Moon, the calligraphy, the tea ceremony, Genji, the Bull and the fireman’s robes.\u00a0 The second group was from a city recreational center.\u00a0 There were 11 kids.\u00a0 They started out a bit disinterested, but I began with Shokei, the ugly man denied a job as a Chinese bureaucrat after passing the exam.\u00a0 They liked that story and the fact that he rode\u00a0a tiger.\u00a0 They also liked the rice planting and harvesting screen, the rabbit looking at the moon, the tea\u00a0bowls, the black bull and the cranes.\u00a0 The fireman’s robes are a great hit with kids of all ages.\u00a0 We ended by looking at Mickey Mouse on the kimono.\u00a0 Good groups, engaged and interested.\u00a0 Fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
