Another Latin day.\u00a0 Started out with a review of vocabulary cards.\u00a0 I had a number to put firmly into memory so that took some time.\u00a0 After that I began translating sentences.\u00a0 With the vocabulary on board the translating went fairly smoothly.\u00a0 I also had to do the English to Latin translation, too.\u00a0 That’s still harder, but I hope it will get easier as we go along.<\/p>\n
Doing the Latin puts a concrete accomplishment in the day and that feels good.\u00a0 With the retreat, our Monday usual business, yesterday’s time at the capitol and today’s Latin, I’ve fallen behind on my words per day on the new novel.\u00a0 That should pick back up starting tomorrow.\u00a0 Of course, there will be chapter 5 in Wheelock, too.\u00a0 And that tour a week from Friday.\u00a0 Tonight the Sierra Club’s legislative committee.<\/p>\n
