Over to NOW fitness to check out new Landice treadmills.\u00a0 Not what I wanted to purchase, but the old one seems more and more problematic and it gets in the way of my workouts.\u00a0 As Ecclesiastes said, everything has its season.\u00a0 Turns out this is the end of treadmill season.\u00a0 Looks like I can get a deal.\u00a0\u00a0 Sorta makes sense.\u00a0 Folks break into the great outdoors for aerobics.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I used to do all my aerobic work outside, all four seasons.\u00a0 In the winter I snowshoed, in the other three seasons I hiked in the regional parks and rode a bike.\u00a0 My bike rusted up and I started doing resistance work, which requires an indoor environment.\u00a0 Over the last few years I’ve\u00a0switched to 100% indoor.\u00a0 The treadmill is a necessary part of my fitness regime.<\/p>\n
Groceries.\u00a0 They had fresh, wild walleye.\u00a0 I bought some and made baked walleye, corn on the cob and asparagus for supper after Kate came home.\u00a0 She got a\u00a0big bonus this quarter and she’s floating right now.<\/p>\n
Spent some time outside.\u00a0 I fertilized the flowering bulbs, trimmed all the perennial grasses and dug up some ornamental annual grasses that finished their run.\u00a0 Have not yet hit my stride with the outdoor work, but I will. I prefer to do garden work early in the morning, then use the rest of the day for writing, reading, exercise and MIA related work.\u00a0 All that falls into place as the days become warmer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
