There and back.\u00a0 To the grocery store.\u00a0 Where, as I wandered the aisles, I got a feeling of wanting to eat a better diet.\u00a0 Again.\u00a0 This is not new.\u00a0 It comes and goes.\u00a0 Sometimes I eat great, other times I just eat.\u00a0 Today I picked up some Cara Cara Navel Oranges.\u00a0 I discovered them last week by accident. Boy are they good.\u00a0 They look sort of like grapefruit (big chunks in the pieces), but taste almost like sweet tangerines.<\/p>\n
On the way and back I listened to a lecture on Aristotle.\u00a0 I know, I said I was fed up with this stuff, but, apparently not. Aristotle was hard for me when I studied him back in 1965.\u00a0 He seems clearer to me now, more reachable.\u00a0 His stuff makes more sense, but it isn’t as beautiful as Plato, nor as thought provoking.\u00a0 At least to me.<\/p>\n
The US lost to Canada in the gold medal hockey game.\u00a0 Good.\u00a0 When we rack up too many medals in either the summer or winter olympics, I don’t think it does our international reputation any favors.\u00a0 Losing a few big ones, while devastating to the individual athletes, or team in hockey’s case, perhaps, the resulting good will is better for us.\u00a0 Still, I’m proud we did well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
