{"id":571,"date":"2008-05-08T12:54:51","date_gmt":"2008-05-08T18:54:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ancientrails.com\/?p=571"},"modified":"2008-05-08T12:54:51","modified_gmt":"2008-05-08T18:54:51","slug":"2008-gardening-season-is-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ancientrails.com\/?p=571","title":{"rendered":"2008 Gardening Season Is Underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>59\u00a0 bar steady\u00a0 29.83 3mph WNW dewpoint 31\u00a0 Beltane<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Waxing Crescent of the Hare Moon<\/p>\n<p>Hemerocallis (the daylily) is a sturdy member of the plant kingdom.\u00a0 Every time I plant, no matter where I plant it, nor the care I give it, the daylily spreads and grows happily.\u00a0 That&#8217;s why years after the fact the foundation outlines for many rural home are still obvious, tiger lilies continue to grow and bloom just like the house was still there.\u00a0 Today all the daylilies in the first raised bed we ever had, made, as all of them, by Jon, got moved.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jon also put in a cedar rail fence and last year I deconstructed it down to the original cedar fencing.
