Once again the papers and books pile up while I focus on the task du jour, getting the garden planted, cleaned up, preened, weeded and planned.<\/p>\n
Significant news on the hydroponic front.\u00a0 The heirloom tomato plant I’ve kept inside has flowers.\u00a0 That means tomatoes sometime in the near future.\u00a0 Most of the\u00a0early work with the hydroponics has come to fruition, literally.\u00a0 I eat a salad from it at least every other day and the tomato plant flourishes.\u00a0 Three tomato plants, four cucumbers, six basil and four morning glories have gone outdoors.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Phase II starts soon.\u00a0 Phase II will see cherry tomatoes, peppers and eggplant first as seedlings, but then as plants to continue growing indoors.\u00a0 If this works well, we might expand the hydroponics to include flowers and more plant starting for outdoors.\u00a0 We’ll see.<\/p>\n
I have two or three novels in various stages of development.\u00a0\u00a0 Two of them, one about werewolves and the other about witches and magicians, both set in Minnesota have promise, but I’d have to get back to work on them full time.\u00a0 Again, I don’t seem to do it.\u00a0 Thinking about this because there are so many bad werewolf movies and books out there.\u00a0 I did, though, mention Sharp Teeth here, I believe.\u00a0 This one’s a keeper.\u00a0 Done in blank verse.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
