Today found me at Home Depot early picking up a filter for the humidifier attached to the furnace–didn’t know it had one till gas repairman pointed it out–and a refrigerator coil brush.\u00a0\u00a0 Turns out refrigerators work more efficiently if their coils get cleaned.\u00a0 Who knew?\u00a0 Up the road on Hghwy 10 I went to Anoka Feed and Seed to order another 8 cubic yards of wood chips.\u00a0 The sky has that late summer blue.\u00a0 Autumn does not show through the sky and the winds yet, but it will.\u00a0 It’s already evident in dying plants and woolly caterpillars.<\/p>\n
Back home I pulled some carrots, beets, chard and Kale.\u00a0 I also dug for a couple of new potatoes, but I’m not finding as many potatoes as I found last year.\u00a0 Hope I just haven’t gone deep enough.\u00a0 That got my hands good and dirty.<\/p>\n
