{"id":7760,"date":"2010-09-16T20:26:36","date_gmt":"2010-09-17T02:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ancientrails.com\/?p=7760"},"modified":"2016-05-03T11:06:52","modified_gmt":"2016-05-03T17:06:52","slug":"tired","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ancientrails.com\/?p=7760","title":{"rendered":"Tired."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lughnasa\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Waxing Back to School Moon<\/p>\n<p>The docent luncheon today.\u00a0 It is always an event where mediocre food meets a droner of a program.\u00a0 I&#8217;s only salvation lies in the persons seated near you.\u00a0 This is like the platoon in the army.\u00a0 You wouldn&#8217;t go into the trenches for the colonel (Debbie or Sheila), but for your buddies, the folks seated near you, you will endure the whole as if it were something you really wanted to do.\u00a0 The food this time was Asian, a plus in my opinion, but in name only.\u00a0 We also had the awarding of various things for various levels of service.\u00a0 One woman, Sally Lehman had been a docent for 45 years.\u00a0 That&#8217;s a long time.\u00a0 Even my class got pins for our 5 years of service beginning in 2005.\u00a0 It&#8217;s gold and I have it on the bookshelf beside me.\u00a0 Beside the five-year pin from the Collection in Focus program.\u00a0 It&#8217;s silver.\u00a0 Shows ya.<\/p>\n<p>After the luncheon I wandered through the museum and found Embarrassment of Riches under installation.\u00a0 This is a new photo collection documenting the global expansion and concentration of wealth that has characterized the last 30 years.
