The first flowers!\u00a0 Snow drops.\u00a0 Small white fairy caps dangling gently from a narrow, curved stem.\u00a0 They jostle back and forth in the breeze.\u00a0 There must be bloodroot blooming \"snowdrops\"somewhere up here by now.\u00a0 That’s one of the odd things about living in Andover, our spring arrives about a week behind the cities.\u00a0 Urban heat island effect, I imagine.\u00a0 Those of you who read this in the cities probably have daffodils blooming, have had, perhaps even a tulip or two.\u00a0 Our daffodils are shy, but when they come on, wow.<\/p>\n
