The Red Raspberry

September 23, 2013 Charles Leave a comment

Fall                                                                    Harvest Moon

A red raspberry bobs in the wind

A tan dog, a bright blue sky

A cirrus cloud scrapes its nails

Toward the hidden north star.

We all walk ancientrails. Welcome to the journey.

Whitman

“Not I, not anyone else, can travel that road for you,
You must travel it for yourself.
It is not far, it is within reach,
Perhaps you have been on it since you were born and did not know.”

– Walt Whitman
